DESCRIPTION:
APW - Rockford, Grade 950 (marked) with winding indicator, 21J, 18S, gold-filled OF original case, white enamel DS dial, SW-LS, fully capped lever escapement, nickel damascene, s#908185. The Grade 950 is quite rare with a total production of only 200 made, all within a single run spanning serial numbers 908001 to 908200.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, bright lustrous surfaces, small marring adjacent balance cock screw and numerous surrounding fine to micro-fine scratches to balance cock foot, some micro-fine scratches crossing the barrel bridge; dial with hl near 11, very faint hl below indicator register, very faint hls above seconds-register; fine hands, oxide and finish loss to minute; case shows ample wear, shallow denting to rear, wear to brass to large portion of band and to smaller portions of bezel and rear perimeter; tight brass bow, crown shows ample wear; good glass crystal.
